I had seen a previous Doctor from Derrifield who suggested surgery to remove a Planta Fibroma in my foot, I was then put in contact with Mr Butler who explained fully my condition and the risks involving the surgery, and there was another treatment involving a course of injections which I can only say has had amazing results. He is a very straight talking Doctor who explains fully what he is going to do and the expected results which gave me great confidence in him and the result of the treatment has been way more than I had expected or hoped for. Would highly recommend anyone with Planta Fibromas to speak to Mr Butler before contemplating Surgery, he is an excellent Doctor.

WOW! If you are looking for great bedside manner and a Gold star CV look no further. After fracturing my mid foot in a number of places and an unfortunate experience within the NHS I couldn’t face returning, I’d become extremely anxious and scared of what the future may hold for me. That all changed from the second I met Mr Butler who listened, empathised and reassured me. In a heartbeat I went from a scared rabbit in the headlights hopping around in plaster non weighbearing to a happy, hopeful partially weightbearing, confident person again. I cannot speak more highly of him and as a trained SRN I would recommend him to everyone. Mr Butler put me at my ease and gave me my life back, no panic, very calm and chilled. Mr Butler a retired Lt Colonel Armed Forces has completed many tours of Afghanistan and other conflict zones and seen the most horrific traumas. He has huge experience and nothing is too much trouble. I’m over the moon and really looking forward to seeing him again. Simply put, Mr Butler is a HEARTSING Consultant, I am indebted. The Army’s loss is Cornwall’s gain.

An hospital appointment which I actually enjoyed. Dr Butler personality makes you relaxed, allowing you to confidently discuss your issues. A good listener who respects your input. On discussion about the treatment I would require, he explained in layman terms all the options available to me with all the pros and cons. In summation methodically relayed the future course of action leaving me confident and informed of the future ahead whilst removing any worries I had.

My experience over the last year under the care of Mr Butler has been extremely positive. From my first appointment he listened to all of my concerns and explained in detail everything that would take place going forward. My operation was a complete success and I have just had my 12 month checkup. If I find myself in a position in the future where I need further surgery I would be more than happy to be referred again to Mr. Butler.
